'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 news, update, rumors: Is it the end of Penny and Leonard's love story?

It has been quite a roller coaster ride for the fans of "The Big Bang Theory" as the rumored conclusion of the hit CBS comedy series is expected to happen in the upcoming tenth season. Specifically, the followers of the series' popular love team, Penny and Leonard, are worried that they will be seeing the last of the characters this year as the contracts of their actors, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, are going to expire at the end of Season 10.
Cuoco and Galecki have played the adorable characters of Penny and Leonard for nine straight seasons and the unique and undeniable chemistry of the two has contributed to the show's appeal to viewers. This is why many viewers are disappointed that Season 10 might be the last for their tandem, and up to now, there is still no news regarding the renewal of contract of the two main cast members, Yibada reported.
Cinema Blend noted another "Big Bang Theory" star, Kunal Nayyar, who plays the role of Raj, saying that most of the main cast's contracts are expiring after Season 10, and he personally has no idea what will happen after the finale of the tenth season.
"Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of Big Bang Theory," said Nayyar as he attended the MCM Comic Con in London recently. "To be completely honest, I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10. I don't know what's going to happen."
Also, in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer Steve Molaro gave a hint that the series is about to bid its last farewell with the Season 10 finale. Molaro revealed in the interview that Season 10 will wrap up the individual stories of the series' regular characters, describing it as the "ending point" of the show.
However, in spite of seemingly declaring the tenth season as the final chapter of the book, Molaro said that he is always open for the possibility of creating follow-up seasons.
"I don't know and all I can do right now is go episode to episode and try to make each one the best that we can," said Molaro.
However, there is still quite a glimmer of hope when Cuoco herself revealed in an interview with TV Line that the series ending on its tenth season is not true. She quickly replied that "The Big Bang Theory" will not end after Season 10, as the reporters were eager to know if the rumored series finale of the show this year is true.
