'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 news, spoilers: Showrunner talks about weddings and show renewal

There seems to be trouble in paradise for "The Big Bang Theory" fans and this has nothing to do with last season's cliff-hanger. The stars of the CBS network's hit TV sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" have not confirmed the reprisal of their roles beyond season 10.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the main cast — Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper, Johnny Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter, Kaley Cuoco as Penny, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz, Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali, Mayim Bialik as Amy Farrah Fowler, and Melissa Rauch as BernadetteRostenkowski-Wolowitz — sought a pay raise two years ago.
The cast members' contracts will officially end after season 10. So far, none of them have renewed their contracts. The report said negotiations with the network are still ongoing but the talks are definitely not interfering with the production of season 10.
The cast and crew have already successfully shot three episodes. As previously reported, Cuoco and Bialik even shared a few set photos from the forthcoming season. Cuoco teased a few group pictures with the main cast, confirming that they are indeed filming season 10. Bialik, on the other hand, teased Brandon Jones' role in the upcoming season.
When THR asked showrunner Steve Molaro about how they're shooting season 10 with a great chance that the cast might not be reprising roles for the following season, the producer said they are taking it one episode at a time. Molaro added that they are letting things occur organically, and although they could do something different, they're sticking to their plans right now.
Season 10 will pick up a day after Sheldon's mom and Leonard's dad were seen going back to the hotel together. Penny and Leonard invited all their loved ones to witness their exchange of vows. After their quick wedding in Vegas, the couple opted to do a formal wedding with family and friends. The ceremony will be an intimate gathering at an arboretum in Pasadena. Despite the tension between the families, the showrunner admitted that the couple's "pockets of love find a way of bubbling through the tension."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will return to CBS on Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. EDT.
