Sheldon (Jim Parsons) threatens to break up with Amy (Mayim Bialik) when she refuses to follow his bathroom schedule in the upcoming episode of CBS' hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" season 10.

Titled "The Hot Tub Contamination," next week's episode will continue to explore Sheldon and Amy's new living arrangement. According to the official synopsis, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) must get in between a quarreling Sheldon and Amy. When their attempt to live under one roof does not go as they have initially planned, Sheldon threatens to breakup with Amy when she refuses to adhere to the bathroom schedule he made up. Meanwhile, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) decision tostay at home from a planned vacation will force them to deal with unexpected house guests.

In the previous episode, Amy's apartment got flooded, forcing her to find a temporary place to live. To convince Sheldon to live with her, Amy proposed a five-week cohabitation "experiment" with her boyfriend. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Steve Molaro shared hints on their future plans for the socially-awkward couple's new living setup.

"The beauty of Sheldon and Amy is so much is new to them," he said. "Even small, simple things like having people over for brunch for the first time can be an adventure. Which, incidentally, is something we will be exploring."

Now that Sheldon has moved out of his apartment to be with Amy, Leonard and Penny must adjust to their temporarily "empty house." Will they start thinking about having a family of their own? It might be possible, but not in the near future.

"As far as families go, we are happy to leave that to Howard and Bernadette for now," he continued. "And while this is an exciting new chapter of freedom for Leonard and Penny— they'll have their hands full helping Sheldon and Amy navigate these new arrangements. They have great motivation, because if it fails they get Sheldon back! (laughs)"

The 10th season of "The Big Bang Theory" airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
