'The Bachelorette' update: JoJo goes on a date, details on the upcoming date locations
JoJo Fletcher seems to be having the time of her life as the latest "Bachelorette," following her unfortunate breakup with Ben Higgins in the recently concluded "The Bachelor."
Since the reality show is currently in production, showrunner Mike Fleiss keeps fans interested by posting tweets about "The Bachelorette." The latest update from Fleiss' Twitter account proves that love is all around even though they have only been filming for two weeks. "The L-word was just uttered... #TheBachelorette," the post reads.
Recently, JoJo went on a date with one of the 20 contestants, Luke Pell. The two went to a concert date featuring Dan + Shay. According to a report by Yibada, JoJo was surprised as she was ushered to get up the mini stage. In a photo making the rounds online, the two did not seem to be shy when they made out in front of the people who were there.
Besides the men who will try to woo JoJo, fans of the reality TV series are also curious about the locations they will go to. As noted by Reality Steve, the producers originally planned to go to Australia for the much-anticipated overnight dates as well as the final rose ceremony. However, the hotel chain they initially wanted allegedly turned down the offer for reasons still unknown.
It was also reported that the production team tried their luck to film the scenes in Ecuador, only to be turned down again. However, Steve explained that it will depend on the producers if they decide to try in a different place. "I wouldn't completely rule them out because they did try to go there, but that particular location couldn't accommodate them. I'm just not sure if that means they won't go there at all. I guess we'll see," Steve explained.
"The Bachelorette" will have its premiere on Monday, May 23 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
