'The Bachelorette' 2016 news: Details on outrageous group dates, former 'Bachelor' Sean Lowe gives advice

This year's "The Bachelorette" will return to TV screens in just a few weeks, and new details about JoJo Fletcher's outrageous dates have surfaced.

The 25-year-old real estate developer is known for her stint on the recently concluded "The Bachelor" with Ben Higgins. Despite being a fan-favorite, JoJo was unfortunately dumped by Ben when he gave the final rose to his now fiancÃ©e Lauren Bushnell. However, her popularity led her to become the new "Bachelorette," as it was confirmed that she will be in the show right after Ben picked Lauren over her.

According to E! Online, JoJo's dates involved being in a firefighting boot camp. They also went to swim off the coast of Uruguay with a lot of seals, and they even took a dip in a hot tub out of nowhere while being in the woods. To boot, a source mentioned one unique outing, stating, "In one of the wildest group dates, 12 unsuspecting guys are asked to share their sexual experiences in front of JoJo and a live audience."

Meanwhile, former "Bachelor" Sean Lowe recently talked to People where he talked about JoJo being this year's Bachelorette. "It's actually funny," he said. "I'm actually friends with her brother back home in Dallas. Talking to him, he said that she was kind of nervous going in, didn't know what to expect." Sean is one of the few individuals who actually found lasting love in the show, as he is happily married with his wife Catherine whom he met in the show. When asked for an advice he would like to give JoJo, he said: "Have fun, go in there with an open mind, an open heart. Have fun, enjoy it and if you're lucky, or I should probably say blessed, you might find someone as good as I did. Find your life partner."

JoJo Fletcher's season of "The Bachelorette" will premiere May 23 on ABC. It will air at a special time from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. p.m. ET.
