'The Bachelor' Finale 2015 Results, Winner Recap: No Surprise as Chris Soules and Whitney Get Together

The finale of "The Bachelor" last Monday on ABC saw farmer Chris Soules faced with the choice of having Whitney Bischoff or Becca Tilley for his wife. He eventually picked Whitney.
Even before the episode started, many viewers were quite certain that Chris would pick Whitney and leave Becca behind as he seemed much more comfortable with the former. However, it seemed that Chris waited until the last date to make up his mind. In the end, he felt that Whitney was ready to settle down and that Becca was more guarded.
At the start of the finale, both Whitney and Becca visited Chris' family and spent time with them. Whitney was first to visit and it was quite apparent that Whitney was well liked by his family and was comfortable with them.
By the time Becca followed, she could not outshine her. Becca then made it clear that she was just falling in love with Chris and was not certain about moving to the small town where he lived.
This led to the final date between Becca and Chris. Here she made it clear that she was not ready to move to his place in Arlington although she did state that she wanted him.
On the final date with Whitney, Chris spent time picking corn, and explaining how harvesting worked. Then they headed to his home. Whitney said it already felt like her house and she could envision their future together. This seemed to help Chris make his decision.
The next day Becca first went to meet Chris, and he told her that he could not pick her as she was not ready to settle down. Then Whitney arrived and he proposed to her with a ring and she accepted.
Meanwhile, the producers of the show kept the tempo going by introducing a twist in the tale in the form of Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson both being chosen for the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette."
