'The Bachelor' 2017: Is Luke Pell the next bachelor?
Who will be the next bachelor to hand out roses in January 2017? Creator of ABC Network's reality television dating game show "The Bachelor" Mike Fleiss dropped hints pointing to Luke Pell as the next bachelor.
On Aug. 12, Fleiss told his followers on Twitter that he will be announcing the new bachelor on social media platforms, most likely after the Rio Olympics or when he hits 100k followers. However, he recently tweeted to confirm that he can't reveal the identity of "The Bachelor" until papers have been "signed, sealed and delivered."
Prior to sending that tweet, Fleiss had been gradually giving clues about the identity of the new bachelor. A few of those clues were: The Beatles, Omaha, and Cupid.
Among the clues Fleiss dropped, the major giveaway was the hint about sunrise. Fleiss revealed that the new bachelor "likes sunrises more than sunsets," reported Inquisitr.
The news outlet also pointed out that Pell's Twitter header is a picture of a sunrise. Pell posted a number of photos of the Texas sunrise on his Instagram account.
Though Pell has been the prime candidate for the next bachelor, many are considering Chase McNary and Robby Hayes for the part as well.
In a discussion about the upcoming season of "The Bachelor," McNary said that he has hesitations in taking on the role. "I definitely want to make the smart decision and the right decision before I totally accept that position," McNary shared.
On the other hand, Pell seemed like he was already ready to take on the role. "It's a possibility. I definitely wouldn't pass on it!" Pell shared with Yahoo.
"The Bachelorette" stars Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers also believe that the next bachelor could either be Luke Pell or Chase McNary.
Sources say that Fleiss could be making the announcement on Sept.30 or after the "Bachelor in Paradise" season finale on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
