'The 100' season 4 spoilers, plot news: Octavia goes on a killing spree; The CW boss promises 'intimate stories'

The CW's post-apocalyptic drama "The 100" will get more emotional when the show returns early next year for its much-awaited fourth season.
To provide a short recap, season 3 was particularly difficult for Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) after she witnessed the execution of her boyfriend Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). In an attempt to ease her pain, she killed Pike (Michael Beach) in the season finale but only ended up making matters worse.
Speaking with Showbiz Junkies, Avgeropoulos hinted that Octavia will have a lot on her plate this coming season. She will still struggle with accepting Lincoln's death so she goes on a killing spree before eventually joining a mysterious group. Even though Avgeropoulos can't name the group yet, she hinted that viewers have seen them before in the show.
"It's going to be a really emotional journey for Octavia," the actress said, adding, "She takes a really dark turn into some pretty nasty pastures. ... She is going to do what she does best next season, and that's killing people. She doesn't enjoy or take pleasure out of it; she just knows that's her skill set."
The 30-year-old further explained that even though Octavia doubted herself at first, she will later discover that she can use her newfound skills as an outlet to excel at becoming a great assassin. Her talent will also lead her to the new group she will join in season 4.
Another aspect from season 2 fans should look forward to are "more intimate stories," according to The CW boss Mark Pedowitz in an interview with Hypable. The intimacy Pedowitz refers to does not necessarily equate to relationships or romance between characters. Instead, he is referring to the Sky Crew being closer than ever after last season's unfortunate events which separated them from each other.
