'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Clarke to face her people's resentment over A.L.I.E.'s death at the start of the season

With less than a month to go before The CW airs the premiere episode of "The 100" season 4, fans are already looking forward to find out how the remaining Earth inhabitants will deal with the world's impending death.
In the season 3 finale, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) decided to eliminate A.L.I.E. (Erica Cerra) despite the artificial intelligence's warning that the Earth is in danger of ultimate destruction due to the nuclear facilities meltdown in different parts of the world.
But it seems like her people and the some of the Grounders will not be happy with Clarke's decision, since they are already in favor of staying in A.L.I.E.'s version of paradise.
According to an interview with TVLine, executive producer Jason Rothenberg teased that Clarke's people will "resent" her decision of pulling A.L.I.E.'s plug because "they're now back in this post- apocalyptic hell, only to find out that in six months, they're all going to die."
Meanwhile, Deadline reported in August 2016 that "Mako Mermaids" star Chai Romruen was tapped for a recurring role in the upcoming season of "The 100."
The actor will reportedly portray the role of the Grounder Ilan, who will be dealing with the horrors that he committed while being controlled by A.L.I.E.'s City of Light chip. Rothenberg also revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con that there will be other new characters who will be introduced in season 4.
Regarding Clarke's love life after the death of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), the executive producer believed that she will continue mourning the death of the former Grounder commander. Yet he also thinks that Clarke will also recover from her loss soon. "I know Lexa would want her to ... She's an 18-year-old girl and you can assume she'll love again," Rothenberg said in an interview that was posted by Yahoo! TV.
The CW will air the premiere episode of "The 100" season 4 on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
