'The 100' Season 4 release date, spoilers: Premiere set for early 2017, Octavia to take A dark turn, Luna to make a comeback?

Post-apocalyptic science fiction drama "The 100" came to a close last month with a dramatic and action-packed season 3 finale, as the heroes are once again put into impossible situations. Now fans may be wondering what lies ahead for the next season.
To recap, Clarke eventually decided to choose free will in spite of its implications, shutting ALIE 1 down and freeing the population. The finale's final moments saw Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) as she finally reached a breaking point. She headed to the dark side and used a dagger to end Pike's (Michael Beach) life as a revenge for Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death. As her friends stood there in shock, Octavia simply walked away without saying anything.
Octavia's portrayer, Marie Avgeropoulos recently caught up with E! News, and she mentioned that her character will be a bit different in season 4. "Octavia is going to get darker next season," she hinted. "There's a lot of twists and turns coming up for season 4, which is going to air next year between January and March."
As for how the story will play out in season 4, it will focus on the aftermath of Clarke's decision in the previous season, along with how the people of Arkadia will move forward following another Nuclear meltdown. Luna will also be present for the next season as Entertainment Weekly reports, and actress Eliza Taylor expressed her excitement to see Luna return. "Personally, I would love to see her come back," said Taylor. "Nadia [Hilker] is such a beautiful, intriguing actress, and Luna is such a great character. There's a lot more we could do with her for sure."
