Post-apocalyptic science fiction drama "The 100" ended its third season last week with a lot of questions still in the viewers' minds, and fans can only hope that season 4 will premiere soon.

The show earned an early renewal for its fourth season, and actress Eliza Taylor expressed how happy she is that viewers of "The 100" continue to grow every season. "That's the second year in a row that we've gotten an early renewal and both times I was shocked," she told IGN. "Not because I don't think our show is amazing, but the first two seasons - it's only now that people are really paying attention to the show. I was absolutely overwhelmed and happy by the renewal because it took so long for people to get attached to it. I'm still like 'What? Another one? Amazing!'"

Taylor admitted that she does not have any knowledge of what fans will see in season 4, but she is ecstatic to continue portraying her role. "I have no idea what Season 4 has in store for us but I feel very grateful that we get to continue this story. There are so many shows like this that don't get the opportunity to continue their story and I'm so excited," she added.

In terms of her character Clarke Griffin, Taylor hopes that she can take a break after everything that has happened to her in the previous season. "This is Season 4: Clarke finds a tropical island and all these really chill dudes and lies on the beach, drinking margaritas and says 'I'm done. I need to relax," the actress joked.

As of the moment, the network has yet to announce an official release date for "The 100" season 4. The show is not on The CW's Fall schedule, so the premiere can be sometime around January to March of 2017. Reports say that the series will likely return in January.
