'The 100' season 3 finale spoilers, plot news: Erica Cerra hints spectacular showdown will lead to someone's death

The season 3 finale of post-apocalyptic science fiction series "The 100" is just around the corner, and viewers are in for a wild ride in the concluding episode scheduled next Thursday.
Actress Lindsay Morgan recently caught up with TV Guide where she discussed the show and the upcoming season 3 finale. "You'll get caught up with everybody. You'll get a lot of ends wrapped up. You'll see a lot of characters you haven't seen for a while," she said. To no one's surprise, the episode will be "really dark" and fans should look forward to how the plot will take shape since it's very unpredictable. Even though the characters were mostly spread out this season, the final episode will definitely tie all the loose ends. "I think the finale is a really great bookend to the entire journey that everyone has been on since Season 1," Morgan added.
In this week's first part of the finale, Alie (Erica Cerra) successfully executed her plan to become more powerful by having her own army of followers. She used a "chip" that puts them under her spell, making it more difficult to stop her from doing her wicked plans. Cerra teased that the episode will see a character's death, and it won't be something viewers expect. "There's surprises!" she told IGN. "There's death - No surprise there. [Laughs] There's a pretty spectacular showdown. I think the fans are going to be really excited. It's a pretty great last two episodes. The finale is fantastic. I think they're going to be blown away."
The short synopsis for "Perverse Instantiation - Part Two" reads:
"In the season's epic and mind-bending conclusion, our heroes begin to face the reality of their tragic situation. Everyone prepares for a final showdown."
