As an answer to the Model X owners' concerns, Tesla has decided to step in and offer ways to mitigate this unexpected setback. As reported by The Verge, the motor company is now distributing removable windshield sunshades to each and every Model X riders for free. The windshield cover will limit the excessive amount of sunlight coming in due to the overly large windshield of the car. Tesla has never intended to put the riders through the situation as the unusually large windshield of Model X is a part of the car's design that provides a stunning view of the outside world. Tesla definitely succeeds in making the riding experience more enjoyable with a nice viewing experience, although the amount of sunlight that the windshield permits into the car is proven to be quite overwhelming.

The design of Tesla Model X specifically features a huge and expansive windshield that arches over the back of the riders' heads, creating a bigger frame of the outside world for the riders to see. The windshield actually extends around one foot and a half greater than what the usual cars have. Normally, the windshield of the car only covers the portion above the front seats. An extended windshield does offer an incredible view and it can be enjoyable for riders in their daily travels, but the owners can't help but complain about the hot and uncomfortable situation that they have to experience.

As reported by Teslarati, a removable windshield sunshade is now offered by Tesla as a temporary solution. The company has begun sending e-mails to all Model X owners to offer them the newly-created windshield shades. The cover will be able to fit around the back of the rear-view mirror. It can cover as much as the entire windshield above the driver's seat, which can block 66 percent of sunlight and heat from coming in. The appearance of the windshield cover lessens the appeal of Model X, although the car owner can remove it anytime.
