For years, the forthcoming electric car developed by Tesla has been one of the most anticipated vehicles. The Tesla Model 3 was first introduced as a prototype in March. From then on, the hype for the forthcoming model skyrocketed. Around 400,000 individuals have reportedly placed a deposit for the upcoming vehicle.

The official website of Tesla revealed that the price for the car starts at $35,000.

According to reports, the company will be implementing Supercharger credits wherein car owners can buy Supercharger access with their credit cards. If car owners have credits, these can be utilized in Supercharger locations.

The company used to charge car owners with a large up-front fee for Supercharger access. With this new system in place, owners have the option to choose a pay-per-use payment plan. Since car owners tend to make the most out of the large fee they paid, Supercharger locations often get too crowded. Hence, this option will reduce congestion at Supercharger locations.

Tesla is accepting reservations with fees as low as $1,000 dollars. Potential buyers will have the car delivered in late 2017. However, since there has been a plethora of reservations, some buyers will most likely have their cars delivered in the succeeding year.

More and more individuals have gained interest in the Model 3 because it will be the cheapest car the company has to offer. Moreover, unlike the preceding cars, this model will be mass produced.

Tesla Motors Chief Executive Officer promised an electric car that can go up to 215 miles per charge. The car can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in under six seconds. This premium sedan is designed to accommodate five adults. Moreover, the car has a five-star safety rating in every category. Tesla prides itself in being one of the best producers of electric vehicles in the world.
