Telltale 'Game of Thrones' Release Date Today: First Episode Premiere Date Lands

Episode 1 of Telltale's new game inspired by the "Game of Thrones" will be released today, Dec. 2. The game will first come out for PCs and PlayStation 4 consoles. Subsequently the other versions for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be released on Dec. 3, and finally the version for the iOS operating system will be out on Dec. 4.
As reported earlier, the first episode titled "Iron from Ice" is going to feature actors from the TV show "Game of Thrones." This was learned when the trailer debuted. It featured the likeness of Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Natalie Dormer and Iwan Rheon.
Since then more details of the upcoming game and its characters have leaked or have been released. Screenshots of the game have hinted that Ramsay Snow will be involved in more torture as he is seen standing in front of a flayed man.
Digital Trends in its analysis of the characters in the first episode has noted that House Forrester is pretty similar to the Starks from Winterfell. First of all the father Lord Gregor is much like the head of house Stark, Ned. Gregor and his wife have five children and the eldest Rodrik is against the Lannisters.
Then there is the second eldest daughter Mira, who is currently in King's Landing serving as handmaiden to Margaery Tyrell, who is destined to become queen. The twins of Ethan and Talia are rumored to be the real protagonists of the story while the youngest is just a baby.
These similarities between House Forrester and House Stark could see the children being scattered far and wide as a result of the war between the kings. The rest of the story could revolve around House Forrester's wealth, which is derived from the forest of Ironwood trees. Also as House Forrester goes up against the Lannisters it could result in House Whitehill trying to take control of the Ironwood forest and finishing their rivals for good.
