'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' to feature new elements like Rage Drive and Power Crush

None have been such a staple of the fighting game genre like the "Tekken" series, and fans will be excited to hear that the next installment in the franchise, "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution," will have new fighting mechanics like Rage Drive, Rage Art, and Power Crush.
According to game producer Katsuhiro Harada, "Tekken 7" will have a super-powered Rage mode for its finishing moves. Seasoned "Tekken" players will remember Rage mode as a feature that was showcased first in "Tekken 6." When a player's character health bar nears zero, Rage mode activates and makes a character faster and stronger for a short burst.
"Tekken 7" will have Rage mode divided into two sections — Rage Drive and Rage Art. Damage to the opponent will be proportional to the player's hit points — meaning that more damage is possible if a player's hit points are at incredibly low levels.
Also, a new feature is Power Crush. This allows players to complete combos and cause damage even when they are taking damage themselves.
The game will also have interactive cut scenes reminiscent of recent "Mortal Kombat" and "Injustice" games. Previous "Tekken" games had cut scenes, but making them interactive as a whole new feature. Like previous games as well, "Tekken 7" will have destructible locations and dynamic weather.
This will reportedly be the first "Tekken" game that will be available for PC. The franchise had been exclusive to PlayStation, Xbox, and arcade gamers, but with the inclusion of PC, this brings a whole new batch of players to the world of "Tekken." Gamers will be able to download "Tekken 7" on Steam.
As of now, there is no official release date for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution," but fans expect that they will be able to get their hands on the game sometime in early 2017.
