'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers update: Stiles and Lydia relationship to be this season's focus

Last season's finale might have introduced a new villain in Beacon Hills, but the series' storyline will likely focus more on the budding relationship between Stiles and Lydia.

Good news for "STYDIA" fans since MTV's "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davies promised more of the couple for season 6. "[Season 6] has a great Lydia-Stiles story," the showrunner said in an interview with MTV. "I think that'll make a lot of Stydia fans happy," he added.

Davies was also generous enough to provide solid hints as to where the next season's story will go. Stiles and Lydia have been revolving around each other ever since the first season, including a special moment shared by the two during season 5. Along with a new the recent rumors, fans will be pleased to know that season 6 will have more of STYDIA. "Certainly Stiles and Lydia could develop more than friendly feelings for each other, but their friendship could seriously suffer. In short, we are not sure to be ready to sacrifice the friendship of STYDIA for a semblance of love story," as per Silver Times.

As for the new mythology to be anticipated for season 6, Davies stated that the teaser for the much-awaited episodes gave away clues. Hypable claims that it might be mind control, and related it with what happened to Stiles in the first episode.

Another shock for the viewers is Liam looking to take on the alpha role in Beacon Hills, replacing Scott. Given that Scott leaves for college, the town will likely need a replacement for him. As a result, this led to fans questioning how to story will take shape and how it will affect the other key characters.
