'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers, plot news: Main theme to revolve around friendship, Tyler Posey to direct an episode

June is just around the corner, and "Teen Wolf" fans will see the sixth season of their favorite TV series return to the small screen.
Jeff Davis previously spoke to Hypable where he discussed the plot details and main theme for season 6. "Season 6 actually really goes back to the friendship, the main thrust of the show, which is about two best friends going out into the woods one night to find a dead body," he said. "The first part of season 6 is very much about Stiles and Scott's friendship. That's all I can really say at the moment since we're still working it out."
Speaking of Stiles, actor Dylan O' Brien who plays the role recently got in a serious physical injury while shooting for his upcoming film "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" He suffered an accident on-set last March, but the actor's injuries were actually even worse than initially reported. This led the movie's production company to suspend filming for an indefinite time until O' Brien goes back to his top shape.
During the 2016 MTV music awards, lead actor Tyler Posey spoke to E! Online where he gave an update of his friend and co-star O' Brien's after his terrible injury. He expressed his concern for the young actor, saying, "It was very scary for a little bit. I was really worried being here, him being in Vancouver. But he's good. He's back home," he said. Posey was tight-lipped when pressed for further details, only saying that it was "a stunt gone wrong."
Meanwhile, Davis also confirmed that Posey will be directing an episode for next season. He admitted that the actor still has a lot to learn in terms of directing, stating, "It's not just directing actors; it's choosing the right type of lens. It's choosing the number of shots to get through your coverage, whether you need to do a full scene in a master or only bits of a scene in a master. There's a lot of technical stuff to learn." The showrunner also hinted at "big changes" coming, particularly for the characters of Scott and Lydia.
"Teen Wolf" season 6 premieres sometime in June on MTV.
