'Teen Wolf' Season 6 news, updates, cast rumors: Newcomers to star next season?

It has been rumored that the upcoming new season of MTV's popular supernatural drama series "Teen Wolf" will feature a bunch of new cast members. The old-timers who have stayed on the show for four straight seasons would be taking their final bow as the new cast is reported to be replacing them when the sixth season arrives.

New website Yibada has reported that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will be picking up two months after the events of the previous season's finale. The ending of the fifth season saw the main characters like Scott (played by Tyler Posey) and Stiles (played by Dylan O'Brien) who have just graduated high school. The wolf gang is expected a new life of budding young adults, meaning greater challenges and bigger issues as a maturing wolf man.

However, the new chapter in the lives of Scott, Stiles and the rest of their pack may actually be their last moments in the hit supernatural series. News Everyday reported that a new batch of characters will be entering the story starting in the sixth season. This group of "Teen Wolf" newbies will be led by Liam (played by Dyan Sprayberry). From a supporting character, Liam will now take the place of Scott as the show's main protagonists. There is no news about the complete list of new characters starring in Season 6.

It will not be surprising if Liam will be the new alpha of the series after Scott and Stiles. It can be recalled in Season 5 that Liam has an unbelievable strength and skills as a werewolf, although he still cannot manage to control his power or his urge to save other people. There was a scene where Liam almost killed Scott. If this immense werewolf capability could be controlled, Liam may be a very good leader of the pack.

Meanwhile, another popular character may not be returning for Season 6. Christian Daily reported that Kira (played by Arden Cho) will not be a part of the upcoming season, even if the character is expected to remain in the story. She was last seen trying to escape the Skinwalkers pack which she had made a deal that prevents her from leaving the tribe.
