The search for Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) becomes dangerous on the upcoming episode "Teen Wolf" season 6.

Titled "Memory Found," this week's episode will see Stiles' friends resort to extreme measures to find him. According to the official synopsis, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Theo (Cody Christian) act as decoys while the group comes up with a plan to save Stiles. Scott (Tyler Posey), Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are desperate to find their friend, but their plan to rescue Stiles and the rest of the Ghost Riders' victims will put their lives in danger.

Tuesday's episode saw Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) spending most of the hour doing nothing but remembering. After recalling that he has a son, he remembered that his wife is actually dead. He was overwhelmed with a flood of emotions as he tries to piece together his beloved son's life.

At the end of the hour, the sheriff was able to remember everything and eventually updated everyone about it. It was also a bit of a surprise for fans because he revealed Stiles' real name for the first time. "I have a son. His name is Mieczyslaw Stilinski," he said during the episode. Though it's unclear whether Stiles' name will be explored further in the plot, the revelation was certainly a big moment for viewers.

Showrunner Jeff Davis recently caught up with Entertainment Weekly, and he explained how he came up with Stiles' unique name. Davis revealed that it was actually derived from a Polish word that is fitting for the character's personality.

"A few years ago, I knew I would have to actually reveal Stiles's name at some point," he said. "I was looking for a Polish name that was incredibly difficult to both spell and pronounce. Mieczyslaw sounded like 'mischief.' It seemed like a perfect word to describe Stiles. Both as a mischievous child and equally misbehaved adult," Davis went on to say.

The sixth and final season of "Teen Wolf" airs every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
