'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 6 spoilers, news: Scott, Lydia, and Malia to visit a mysterious place; Agent McCall returns
Scott (Tyler Posey), Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are led to a mysterious place as they continue to find their missing friend on the upcoming episode of MTV's supernatural drama "Teen Wolf" season 6.
Titled "Ghosted," the show's upcoming winter premiere will see the group enter a new place as they continue to search for Stiles (Dylan O'Brien). According to the official synopsis for episode 9, Scott, Lydia, and Malia continue to search for clues about the Wild Hunt. While looking for their friend, the three characters end up going to a mysterious place called Canaan. Elsewhere, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) take drastic measures in an effort to fight against the nefarious Ghost Riders.
The show is currently on a winter break, and it is scheduled to return early next year for a new batch of episodes. As the series heads to its end, another former Beacon Hills resident has been confirmed to return home: Scott's dad, Agent Rafael McCall. Played by Matthew Del Negro, the character was last seen in the show's season 4 episode titled "Time of Death."
Del Negro shared the news of his return last Friday through an Instagram post, confirming that fans haven't seen the last of Scott's father.
Unfortunately for anticipating viewers, the reason for Rafael's comeback is still being kept under wraps. Speaking with TV Line, executive producer Jeff Davis recently teased that there's been a lot of internal discussion about the former characters they'd like to bring back before the show ends next year. Davis hinted that Kira "comes up a little later in the story" and that the idea of her returning to the series for its farewell season is "not outside the realm of possibility."
The sixth and final season of "Teen Wolf" returns to the small screen on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
