'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 2 spoilers: Scott continues to search for Stiles' lost memories; EP Jeff Davis teases Scott's new struggles

"Teen Wolf" recently premiered its sixth season with a bang, and the next episode promises to feature more revelations for the characters following Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) disappearance.
Titled "Superposition," next week's episode will highlight one character's ties to a supernatural group of huntsmen. According to the official synopsis for episode 2, Scott (Tyler Posey), Lydia (Holland Roden) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) continue to search for Stiles' lost memories after the Riders suddenly erased him from existence. Meanwhile, Corey (Michael Johnston) learns about a connection between his capabilities and the Wild Hunt.
Tuesday's premiere marked the dreaded introduction of the Riders, a sinister group of horse-mounted figures who erase people from existence. After randomly snatching up a young boy and his parents, the Riders targeted a helpless Stiles. Even though no one in his life remembers him, a spark of hope remains within Lydia, who appears to remember that she's forgetting someone important to her.
One of the highlights of the season 6 premiere was Stiles finally dropping the L-bomb as he professed his true feelings for Lydia. "Remember I love you," Stiles told Lydia before he was erased by the Riders. Speaking with Hollywood Life, executive Jeff Davis shared a hint on what fans should expect in the next episode. "Well, I'll tell you something happens at the end of the second episode that is a callback to the first season of 'Teen Wolf,'" he said.
Being the leader of the pack, Scott certainly has a lot on his plate this season. Aside from saving his friend Stiles, Scott will be dealing with more complications as he prepares to graduate. "His challenges have a lot to do with finding his way without Kira, facing senior year and graduation and what he's going to be doing with his life... His great worry is: Can I leave Beacon Hills? Is it going to be safe without me? Or should I stay? Should I give up college? Should I give up a future? And stay here because people could be in danger. That's going to be a lot of his struggle," the EP continued.
