'Teen Wolf' Season 6 casting news, spoilers: Ross Butler on board as new character Nathan, Dylan O'Brien to exit the show?

MTV's hit supernatural drama "Teen Wolf" will soon air its sixth season, and a new actor has been confirmed to join the show.
A fresh face will soon be seen in Beacon Hills as Ross Butler will portray the role of a lacrosse player named Nathan. He refuses to believe in the supernatural at first, but he will eventually be exposed to the small town's strange creatures. Butler is also known as Reggie in The CW's adaptation of the popular comic book series "Archie."
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Dylan O' Brien will not return for season 6, but it will be for a good reason. Last February 2016, the young actor sustained serious injuries after an accident happened while he was filming for the third installment of "Maze Runner." Since then, all of his projects were pushed back for him to recover and get back in top shape.
O' Brien's departure has not been confirmed by the network, but fans hope that the actor will still be back after he is well enough and he won't be permanently axed from the show. Executive producer Jeff Davis previously hinted that "something big" will happen to O' Brien's character Stiles and Lydia.
On another note, actress Arden Cho personally stated that she will exit the show for good. "I just want to say I love Kira Yukimura so much," she said, pertaining to her character. "I love the Yukimura family. I loved my experience on Teen Wolf. I love the cast and crew, it's been an amazing three-and-a-half years. It's gone by so fast, but unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira's storyline and she won't be coming back for Season 6."
As of this writing, the network has yet to announce an official premiere date for "Teen Wolf" season 3.
