'Teen Wolf' season 6 air date, updates: Actors attend final MTV VMAs as complete cast; Stars launch social media howling campaign

"Teen Wolf" will be airing its sixth and final season this year, and the cast recently attended their last MTV Video Music Awards red carpet as a group.
Holland Roden, who portrays Lydia Martin in the series, has not missed the event since "Teen Wold" debuted in 2011. The actress matched the VMA white carpet by donning an ivory form-fitting jumpsuit along with a cape. Speaking to Daily Mail, Roden hinted that the upcoming season might share similarities with Netflix's most recent summer hit.
"If you like Stranger Things season one, I think that showrunner and our showrunner are the same person," she teased. When pressed for further details, Roden said fans should just tune in and see for themselves. Co-stars Shelley Hennig and Dylan Sprayberry were also present in the event, with Hennig wearing a shimmering frock while Sprayberry opted for a more casual look.
Some characters of "Teen Wolf" are known to let out a few howls but this time, they will be howling for a cause. The show's stars recently launched a social media campaign to raise awareness about a genetic disease known as cystic fibrosis. Joining Roden for this cause are Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Ryan Kelley, Ian Bohen, and JR Bourne - who all have shared videos of themselves online while howling and encouraging fans to do the same.
Their goal is to support the #Howl4ACure initiative launched by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The organization aims to inform the public of their work to help individuals suffering from the condition, which targets the lungs and other internal organs. Bourne, who plays the role of Chris Argent in the program, shared the advocacy is close to his heart because he has a niece with the same disease."When I started doing conventions for the show, I realized it was an amazing platform for discussing the disease and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation," he told MTV News.
"Teen Wolf" season 6 premieres Nov. 15 on MTV.
