'Teen Wolf' Season 6 air date, spoilers news 2016: Theo comes back from hell, turns into Scott's close ally?

Many viewers thought that they have seen the last from Theo Raekan in the previous season of "Teen Wolf." However, it appears that MTV's supernatural thriller has more in store for the character played by Cody Christian. The more interesting news is that Theo will no longer have his usual villainous persona that almost got everyone killed in Season 5. This time around, Theo may even end up being Scott McCall's (Tyler Posey) close ally.

Hall of Fame Magazine recapped a particular episode from "Teen Wolf" Season 5 that showed Theo being dragged to hell by his dead sister. It is not an easy feat for someone to escape the fires of hell, and it is probably well-deserved for the likes of Theo to be trapped in there. However, it was already confirmed by the actor himself that his character will make it back to the plane of the living. In an interview with Showbiz Junkies, Christian confirmed that he will reprise his role as Theo in the sixth season. Although contrary to his past actions in Season 5, the upcoming chapter may show Theo being a huge help for Scott.

"It's possible," he said. "It's definitely possible. Fans are just going to have to tune in and check it out," teased the actor about Theo's new persona in Season 6. He also added that Theo will be shown as a changed person, and the fans can finally view the character as someone who is broken, unlike the initial perception of him as a powerful person.

"So, he's just a changed person. It's going to be really fun to explore," Christian revealed.

Entertainment Weekly also confirmed Cody Christian's return in "Teen Wolf," but it is all up in the air whether Theo will go back to his old ways, or if he will finally be on Scott's side. After all, a new threat has emerged during the Season 5 finale with a terrifying Nazi werewolf being unleashed to the public.
