'Switched At Birth' Season 4 Spoilers, News: The Magical Christmas Special

There is some magic involved in the upcoming episode of "Switched At Birth" as Bay Kennish (played by Vanessa Marano) and Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc) discover that they were never really switched at birth.
This revelation will be made during the show's special episode on Dec. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. on ABC.
"Switched At Birth" will be joining other top rated shows from ABC Family's stable, including "Pretty Little Liars," during its first Christmas special.
"Switched At Birth" has already completed three seasons. Its fourth season is due to premiere in the early part of 2015.
At the moment, most of the "Switched At Birth" news is centered on the upcoming Christmas special episode titled "Yuletide Fortune Tellers."
According to Broadway World, magic is up in the air. It notes that initially Bay does not like the Christmas preparations that Kathryn (Lea Thompson) has planned, which includes peanut brittle and karaoke.
On the other hand, Daphne is exasperated when Regina (Constance Marie) plans to have a movie marathon and splurge on Chinese food to mark Christmas. This changes when both families ended up having a joint dinner and using some garlic knots that have magical properties.
The next day, Bay and Daphne find out that "magically" the switch did not happen and that in an alternate universe they have completely different lives. Bay is hoping to qualify for the Olympics while Daphne finds that she is a renowned artist with an exhibition coming up.
In the rest of the episode viewers will get to see if the Christmas miracle will last and if their alternative lives are something that the girls really want.
As for the fourth season of "Switched At Birth," it will premiere with an episode titled "And It Cannot Be Changed."
