Suspected ISIS recruiter arrested in Nigeria

A suspected member and recruiter of the Islamic terrorist group ISIS, as well as other terrorist members, have been arrested in Nigeria.
According to All Africa, the State Security Service (SSS) arrested the suspect, Abdussalam Enesi Yunusa, an alleged recruiter for ISIS on Tuesday.
Tony Okpuiyo, an official of the SSS, said in a statement that Yunusa was captured immediately after arranging departure details of recruited members for ISIS. In the report, the new recruits were to undergo training in Libya.
A press release by the government agency revealed that SSS launched a campaign to track down terrorists in the country in order to make it a safer place for the citizens.
The team conducted 'tactical operations' including raids and enforcement actions against terrorists, leading to the succesful capture of Yunusa last month.
Yunusa was repoortedly an undergraduate student at the Federal University of Technology, located in Minna, Niger state enrolled in a bachelor's degree in media and information technology. He was radicalized and has since been working as a recruiter for the terrorist group.
The Nigerian government has made statements in the past enforcing its commitment in fighting terrorism in the country.
