The finale of the 29th season of "Survivor" saw the remaining women rule the roost while the men had to play second fiddle. It saw Natalie Anderson triumph in the end after garnering a great majority of the votes from the jury.

Twenty-eight-year old Natalie, whose twin sister Nadiya was voted off in the first round, got most of the votes and became the sole survivor by proving to the jury that she had outsmarted and outplayed the rest in typical "Survivor" fashion.

Before appearing in "Survivor" the sisters, who earned the nickname "Twinnies" on the show, had taken part in several other reality competitions. They had appeared in two seasons of "The Amazing Race" where they were the first to be eliminated during one season.

Early on in the 29th season of "Survivor," it seemed that the sisters would be eliminated one after the other. But after Nadiya's exit, Natalie persevered and worked her way through the rest of the episodes until she reached the final.

The finale started with only five contestants in the fray -- Natalie, Jaclyn, Keith, Baylor and Missy. There were early indications that the four women would at some point try to vote Keith out of the completion. However, it was Baylor who had to exit first when she lost the vote. Following which Keith was voted off after Jaclyn won the immunity challenge.

This led to the three remaining women facing the tribal council and pitching for their votes. In the pitch Missy noted that she expected her loyalty to work in her favor, while Jaclyn wanted to win because she needed the money to start a family. Natalie described how she outsmarted the others and preformed better than anyone else.

It seemed Natalie's speech did the trick and most of the council members voted for her. After the show, Entertainment Weekly interviewed Natalie, who stated that Reed, who rebuked Missy on air describing her as a "wicked stepmother" in the final tribal council, was out of line and "a bit of a diva."
