"Supernatural" showrunner Andrew Dabb recently revealed details about the Winchesters' newest enemy, Lady Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore).

In an interview with TV Line, Dabb said, "Toni is very against Dean and Sam and has studied them and has very strong opinions about them—not positive." The showrunner admitted that a compromise could be made since the rest of the members of the Men of Letters want to do something else with the Winchesters.

As previously reported, recently released production photos of "Supernatural" season 12 revealed that Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) will be held captive by the British unit of the Men of Letters. A member of the secret society, Lady Toni, will torture the younger Winchester brother with a blowtorch and his family must save him before this new villain does something horrible.

In the previous season, Lady Toni shot Sam and abducted him. Sam thought his brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) was dead. Moreover, he failed to find out that his mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), had been brought back to life by Amara aka The Darkness (Emily Swallow).

Sources said Mary will be joining Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) as they hunt down the Men of Letters to save Sam. Furthermore, fans of the show will get to know more about Mary in the upcoming season, particularly her family background and her history with hunting supernatural creatures.

It seems like the two brothers will be getting to know more about their mother this season. Ackles said, "It's interesting because, yeah, she's his (Dean's) mother, but she's also a stranger." Sam and Dean were both very young when Mary was murdered by the demon Azazel (Christopher McCabe). Ackles mentioned that his character's adjustment will be "very tricky."

"Supernatural" season 12 will premiere on The CW on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. EDT.
