'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers, plot news 2016: Amara brings back one of her old tricks, Sam and Dean try to stop her evil plan

Since the season 11 premiere of "Supernatural," fans have been wanting to see how deep the Darkness goes in the latest lore of tales. The two later on found out that a new parasitic monster terrorized the town, turning people into crazy creatures. They return once every 27 years to lay eggs on their hosts before they eventually die. The Winchesters get together with the two hunters in order to end the cycle of terror that the supernatural demon brings. Sam and Dean's relationship were given a much different light following the arrival of Cesar and Jessy in the picture. The two hunters teamed up with the Winchesters because of their personal vendetta aginst the monster.

As noted in the official synopsis from the network, this week's episode still follows the Amara storyline which viewers may have noticed all throughout the season. Amara will return to square one and bring back her trick since the season began. The town will be covered in darkness, as she unleashes a black fog which also brings back the black vein virus.

However, this will not be the same as it was before and it surely won't be a walk in the park. Sam and Dean will have a much difficult time dealing with Amara and her dark little trick. They seek the help of the local town sheriff, but the old remedy they came up with was unsuccessful. On another note, Chuck returns along with an unexpected proposal.

Stay tuned for new episodes of "Supernatural" which airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. EST on The CW. The promo clip for this week's episode "Don't Call Me Shurley" can be viewed here. Meanwhile, the season finale titled "We Happy Few" airs on May 18.
