'Super Mario Run' release date, news & updates: Game expected to boost Nintendo's mobile business

Nintendo is making efforts in getting a good grasp of the mobile market and it plans to do so with the highly-anticipated "Super Mario Run."
With the iOS title set to bring back the classic experience of the original and with Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto leading the charge, there is a great expectation for the "Super Mario Run."
The successful release of the mobile game will be more important to Nintendo than usual, as it could actually turn things around following an operating loss between April and September.
Jeffries analyst Atul Goyal said that "Super Mario Run" will strengthen Nintendo's mobile business. "When it comes to the casual game user market, the biggest owner of relevant intellectual property is Nintendo," he said as per CNBC.
"Consoles will cover the costs [while] the real upside is from the new business that is going to be on mobile, and Super Mario Run is the beginning," he continued.
"Super Mario Run" will be released this December on the iOS. It will be released for free with a limited number of levels. To access everything, users will have to pay a set price, which is yet to be revealed by Nintendo.
Millions of fans are excited for the release of "Super Mario Run" based on the 20 million people that signed up to be notified of the game's arrival.
Techno Buffalo believes that "Super Mario Run" will leave a mark in the mobile scene. If the number of registrations translates into actual users who buy the game, "Super Mario Run" will be a home run for Nintendo without a doubt.
The description for the game via Apple iTunes is as follows:
"At long last, Mario jumps into a new adventure on iPhone and iPad, this time playable using only one hand. Even if this is your first Mario game, you won't be able to put it down!
In this game, you constantly move forward through the courses while using a variety of jumps to navigate. Your character will behave differently depending on the timing of your taps, so it's up to you to show off particularly smooth moves, gather coins, and reach the goal."
