When iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were unwrapped last September alongside the wireless Apple AirPods, people were pretty much stunned as they should be as the devices offered some of the most groundbreaking features while some unceremoniously ditched traditional ports that even caused some fans to fly off the handle. And as everyone thought they were done being astonished by Apple's new antics — "Super Mario Run" came to the rescue, appeasing the furor.

The announcement has brought the much-needed boost on the iOS scene and Apple devices, the unveilings of which have become quite ordinary these past years. Apart from that, "Super Mario Run" has coaxed some of the users, whose nostalgia play quite nicely to their nerves, into excitement as it was also shared that the mobile game is set to release in December.

Naturally, Android users have flocked in on the news of the release, desperately wanting to see if their platform will also be getting the same treat. These subscribers can now rest easy as iTechPost has revealed that "Super Mario Run" may get released early in 2017, right after it gets rolled out to iOS users in December.

Initially teased to be for Nintendo 3DS, "Super Mario Run" will be quite different from its earlier releases on Wii as it will not have the same mystery mushrooms or the favorited amiibo costumes. Furthermore, the imminent mobile game will offer microtransactions for its players. But Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has vowed that there will be no more fees after the user purchases its initial price. What more, the firm's president, Tatsumi Kimishima, has said that the game will be as huge as the mighty "Pokémon GO."

"Super Mario Run" will be sent out as a free demo to its users soon.
