USA Network has finally set a premiere date for the second half of "Suits" season 6.

According to reports, the Manhattan-set legal drama returns to the airwaves on Jan. 25. Following the midseason cliffhanger that saw the departure of Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), season 6 picks up with Pearson Specter Litt under the management of partners Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman). Although the two characters are known to disagree a lot, Harvey and Louis are forced to put aside their differences and professional ambitions in an effort to keep their firm afloat.

As they adjust to the transition, the duo will rely on the intuition and wit of their trusted advisers: Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle). Meanwhile, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) must readjust to his life outside of jail after being reunited with Rachel. Also, love is in the air after Louis' romantic proposal to his pregnant girlfriend, Tara (Carly Pope).

Rumor has it that Rachel and Mike's wedding is also just around the corner now that Mike is trying to get his life back on track. Reports say that Mike will possibly go back to law school to chase his lifelong dream and maybe work with Harvey again.

"Suits" has already been renewed for a seventh season, and there are speculations that it will also mark the show's end. In an interview, series creator Aaron Korsch revealed that the show has always been set to span seven seasons. However, the question of whether the show continues beyond season 7 or not still remains to be seen.

"I've always said that I think seven seasons would be the minimum that we would do, and then beyond that, we'll see," Korsch said, although he also mentioned that everyone in the show is amenable to any changes the future may bring.

The sixth season of "Suits" returns Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
