'Suits' season 6 spoilers, plot news: Patrick J. Adams reveals what's next for Mike Ross after getting out of jail; Mike and Rachel to get married?
After finally getting out of jail, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) will make up for the lost time in the upcoming midseason finale of USA's hit legal drama "Suits."
To recap, the previous episode "The Hand that Feeds You" featured Mike getting an early release from prison. After realizing that he didn't want to be responsible for Gallo also getting out of prison, Mike pulled some strings to make Cameron Dennis (guest star Gary Cole) reveal the truth about Gallo during his parole hearing. The episode ended with a twist when Mike wasn't allowed to immediately walk out of prison, giving Gallo more time for revenge.
As the midseason finale nears, fans are wondering what Mike will do next now that he's already served time in jail for practicing law fraudulently. In an interview with Yahoo! TV Adams hinted that Mike's fate will be a "longer conversation" and it will not be resolved in just one episode. "There is some conversation in [Episode 10] about what might be [his] next steps, but the back six episodes [of Season 6] I'm sure will be about what Mike does and how he fits in," he explained.
If one thing is for certain, MIke's focus will be on Rachel (Meghan Markle) as he tries to get back with her. The actor further added that there is a possibility for the couple to tie the knot once all the conflicts are worked out. "It's totally possible," he told Entertainment Tonight. "One way or the other, when we get to that it'll be the right time... To my knowledge, I don't think there is any love lost between these two people, except for time. Now they have the ability to really dig in and really begin their life together without anything in the way."
