'Suits' season 6 spoilers, plot news: Louis and Harvey struggle after Jessica's exit; Robert Zane to become new name partner?

Following Jessica's (Gina Torres) unexpected departure, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) will have some struggles in the firm when "Suits" season 6 returns next year.
The hit USA legal drama, which is currently on a hiatus, left off with Jessica deciding to leave Pearson Specter Litt for good and move to Chicago with her former boyfriend Jeff (D.B. Woodside). After saving the life of an innocent man on death row, Jessica realized that she no longer wants to be a corporate lawyer.
Now that she is out of the picture, there will be some sort of struggle between Jessica's former name partners Louis and Harvey. Viewers can expect some conflicts between the two lawyers as they try to figure out what to do next after their partner's exit. "There's going to be a little conflict over who's running the show and what they're going to do and what direction they're going to take," series creator Aaron Korsh told Deadline.
In terms of what lies ahead for the firm, Korsh revealed that they are still formulating what Louis and Harvey will do about the name of the firm. Most fans speculate that Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) will take Jessica's place as partner because of his previous offer to merge. According to Korsh, despite their interest to have Pierce in more future episodes, he is currently a regular on another show ("The Odd Couple")—making Robert's return far from possible at the moment.
Jessica may have left the firm but the recently-aired midseason finale is certainly not her last appearance in the show. Korsh confirmed that Torres will probably return in the program in some way as a guest star. In a previous interview, Torres also said she is not closing her doors on possible appearances in the future.
The sixth season of "Suits" will return in January 2017 on USA.
