'Suits' season 6 spoiler: Will Mike go back to practicing law?

With Season 5 finale of the American legal drama series, many questions were left unanswered, and fans expect to tie the loose ends in the upcoming season 6 of "Suits."
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Suits" showrunner Aaron Korsh assures viewers that a time jump will not be happening, despite the major surprises the past season left its viewers. "We're coming back right where we left off. Much of the time when we land on a huge, earth-shattering event in our world, we contemplate a time jump. It's probably just the way I think about things, but I always end up feeling like if we're just going to time-jump out of it, what was the purpose of ending there? " Korsh explained.
As for the chances of Mike earning a law degree while still in prison, Korsh says the focus of the show is how long he will stay and what comes about during that time. "That's not what we're focusing on," he said. "We're trying to do something a little different and unexpected. But that's not the focus of Mike's journey in prison. It's more about him surviving and then he has a turn. There are a few twists and turns. But he's not a jailhouse lawyer, so to speak."
Patrick Adams also shared his thoughts regarding Mike's time in prison. "I don't know the full details of how someone could get back into law after they've gone to prison for practicing law fraudulently," he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Moving forward will be the main theme for this season according to Korsh. With Mike's incarceration, he will be moving in a new environment that will definitely take a toll on his relationships with the other characters. How the key players in Mike's life react following the major turns in the story is something fans should definitely anticipate.
"Suits" season 6 is slated to be released later this year in the United Sates.
