'Suits' season 6 news, spoilers: Mike works on getting Kevin's trust, Harvey executes another risky plan, series gets early renewal from USA
Mike works on getting Kevin's trust while Harvey executes another one of his risky schemes in the upcoming episode of USA's legal drama "Suits" season 6.
After spending some time with Rachel, Mike eventually decided to take the plea deal for a reduced time in jail. On Sunday's episode "Trust," Mike begins working on Kevin to gain his trust and form a bond between the two of them. Harvey will materialize one of his plans, but it remains to be seen how it will affect Mike. Meanwhile, Jessica continues to rebuild the firm after the catastrophic events from the past year. Not everyone is ready to let go of Mike's wrongdoings yet, and she must clean up the mess he left before being sent behind bars.
Louis appears to be very interested in Tara who was introduced in the previous episode. He will get help from Donna in an effort to get the lady architect's attention. To give fans in insight on what's to come, the summary for episode 5 reads:
"Mike tries to gain Kevin's trust while Harvey enacts a risky plan; Jessica mends the firm's reputation; Rachel runs into a roadblock; and Louis enlists Donna's help in a matter of the heart."
Speaking with CarterMatt, Tara's portrayer Carly Pope spoke about the dynamic between her character and Louis. "For Tara, right away he is incredibly pronounced in his interest in her and his eagerness to have her as a part of his life professionally as his architect, and she feels therefore very special... I think at the very least as time goes on, you may start to understand a little more of why Tara's open to someone coming into her life who is allowing her to feel like she has a place in this world," she explained.
After airing three episodes of season 6, the series recently snagged an early renewal from USA. Being the network's long-running scripted program on air, "Suits" will have a seventh season with 15 episodes scheduled to premiere in 2017 — pushing the drama to its 100-episode mark.
