'Suits' season 6 episode 4 spoilers: Harvey offers Mike way out; Will he agree to deal to commute his sentence?
Is Mike Ross on his way to freedom? That's what spoilers for the next episode of "Suits" season 6 seem to point at. However, what events led to that possibility?
To recap, the past episode titled "Back on the Map" focused on the choices people make, choices that affect and shape their lives. They could be little or big, but either way, people are bound to make them even if they didn't have to or want to.
In all, last Wednesday's episode of "Suits" tackled four stories, and in each one, a character had to reconcile with a choice that was either bad or worse. For instance, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) had to decide whether to sign a criminal or a jerk as the first new client of the firm after the past season's downfall.
On the other hand, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) had to choose between filing a complaint against Frank Gallo (Paul Schulze) or protecting his cellmate. Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) were likewise faced with individual choices that would eventually lead to compromise of some sort. The catch is that not one of them would walk away clean from their choices.
However, it looks like one of the choices Mike and Harvey would make involves Mike choosing to strike a deal that would commute his sentence. In the promo trailer for "Suits" season 6 episode 4 titled "Turn," Harvey could be seen trying to convince Mike that he doesn't have to go through his sentence; that there is a way out.
"Mike may take a deal to reduce his sentence; Jessica and Louis have different ways of dealing with their new tenants; and Rachel represents a death-row inmate," so read the synopsis for the said episode.
Keeping in mind what Mike had been through since he surrendered himself to the authorities, there is a chance he would take the deal to shorten his sentence. This is especially true since even his loved one have been threatened.
The next episode will likewise see Louis and Jessica dealing with the new tenants of Pearson, Specter, and Litt.
"Suits" season 6 episode 4 "Turn" will air Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 9/8c on USA Network.
