Suits Season 5 Premiere Date, Cast Rumors: Mike's Secret Revealed, Now What's Next?

This summer's episodes of Suits season 4 finished in August, and attention has now turned to the remaining episodes of season four and the premiere date of season five.

The second half of season 4 is scheduled to air either in Winter or Spring, as per the new format of splitting up seasons. This format of splitting a season has borne fruit for USA network over the years, and it looks like they plan to continue with it. However, fans of Suits who have dealt with mid season finales over the last two years might not be thrilled with this news, as it leaves them in the lurch mid-way through a season.

But there was some cheer for fans, as the USA network has announced that it would be picking up Suits for season five. In the announcement made in August before the midseason finale, USA mentioned how "the show continues to fire on all cylinders".

The Hollywood Reporter also added that Suits ranked among the top 10 scripted TV series of the summer in the adults 18-49 demographic, which is a hot favorite with advertisers. Also adding that the show averaged four million total viewers per episode.

The fact that Suits was still pulling in viewers in the adult 18-49 demographic, was also highlighted by Cinemablend, who thought the numbers were good enough for USA to renew it for season five. What hasn't surfaced until now, is the premiere date for season five. It is looking increasingly likely that this date will only be set once season four concludes.

As for the cast of Suits, you can expect most of the main cast to make it to second half of season four. However, there was change in the air when the midseason finale aired. As Louis had discovered Mike's secret; that he did not have a law degree and had been lying about graduating magna cum laude from Harvard.
