'Suicide Squad' news, updates, rumors: Batman making an appearance?

The upcoming DC feature film "Suicide Squad" will feature the gathering of the DC Universe's biggest villains. Therefore, there are some speculations that a DC hero will make an appearance in the movie. It is rumored that Batman will have a cameo appearance in the movie, although the latest reports suggest that Batman's part in "Suicide Squad" will more than just a cameo. It is expected that Batman/Bruce Banner will have a few big scenes in the movie, with some sequences where he will be seen together with the movie's primary characters.

According to the Batman News website, the Dark Knight himself will appear in "Suicide Squad," although it is not known if Batman will be there to challenge the Suicide Squad members or act as a spectator. Nevertheless, Batman will have at least three scenes in the film, which is far from being considered a cameo appearance. There will be two scenes of Batman together with Deadshot (Will Smith), and his last scene in the movie was shot together with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Joker (Jared Leto).

Furthermore, the first scene of Batman in the movie will be the latter's first meeting with Deadshot. However, their meeting will be more of an "emotional" encounter as there are a few hints that the two characters have shared quite a long history. Batman's second scene in "Suicide Squad" will feature the thrilling chase scene of Gotham's caped vigilante against the Joker and Harley Quinn. People can expect to see Batman jumping over the villainous characters' getaway vehicle, and the two will be ultimately captured. However, the fans cannot expect more action between Batman and the Joker as most of their scenes will be from their upcoming solo film in DC Extended Universe.

The last scene of Batman will be another encounter with Deadshot, although this scene is reported to be a flashback sequence where the history of the two characters will be explained. However, there is no information about the characters' interaction in this particular flashback scene.
