It appears that DC Universe's upcoming feature film "Suicide Squad" will not only feature the classic villains from the original DC comic book. If the recent reports are correct, the fans will see another DC superhero in the movie, although his part in the movie may not be that huge compared with the lead villain-protagonists of the movie like The Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot.

According to the latest rumors, DC's ultimate speedster hero The Flash, also known as Barry Allen, will be making a cameo appearance in "Suicide Squad." This will mark the second movie in the DC Cinematic Universe in which The Flash appeared. After his stint in "Suicide Squad," The Flash will proceed to star in his own movie.

The Geek Mafia reported that Barry Allen will be formally introduced in "Suicide Squad" along with the character of Captain Boomerang. The villainous character will also be featured in the film, and as many comic book fans know, Captain Boomerang is one of Barry Allen's most powerful enemies and a member of a dangerous super villain coalition called "The Rogues."

Barry Allen already made his first appearance in the DC Cinematic Universe with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." In the movie, he made a cameo appearance in which he warned Bruce Wayne/The Batman in the latter's present timeline regarding an impending global disaster that will start off with Lois Lane. The Flash also advised Bruce Wayne to form a group of metahumans like himself to defend the world, which will ultimately be called the Justice League.

The Flash also made another cameo appearance in a particular scene in which he used his powers to halt a robbery attempt at a variety store, although Lex Luthor documented his actions through an installed CCTV camera and noted him as another metahuman along with Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg.

Aside from The Flash, Batman is also confirmed to play an important role in "Suicide Squad," and it is not expected to be a small, cameo appearance like that of Barry Allen. Movie News Guide reported that Batman will have a special and emotional scene with Deadshot in the movie.
