'Street Fighter 5' news, update: 'Monster Hunter' collaboration in the works

The worlds of "Street Fighter 5" and "Monster Hunter" will clash in an upcoming new game, Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano has announced.
A few days ago, Event Hubs reported on Ayano's big reveal teased on his blog written in Japanese that the aforementioned site also provided an English translation of.
"I was trying to figure out what to write for this week's blog, but then I remember that we've got that collaboration announcement for next week's Monday, so I figured I might as well heat you up a little bit for that in advance," he wrote.
It turns out that Ayano's announcement was nowhere near a new season of downloadable content (DLC) for "Street Fighter 5" or a new character.
It was about a new mobile game titled "Monster Hunter Explore," which will allow players to use accessories based on "Street Fighter 5" favorites, Ryu, Chun-Li, Rashid and Karin. The monster also appears to be based on the likeness of Dhalsim.
With regards to an actual DLC for "Street Fighter 5," it was announced last week that Akuma will be added to the game. The character will also be an integral part of "Tekken 7."
Akuma will be playable in "Street Fighter 5" during the PlayStation Experience (PSX) on Dec. 3 and 4 in Anaheim, California. The teaser suggests that the demon will be a bit different when he joins the roster.
This is hinted by the kanji inscribed on his back is no longer the Japanese word for heaven, which is normally what his previous iterations had. There is no word yet on what this means for Akuma.
Capcom also added a new stage in the form of "Skies of Honor." It is tied to Rashid and one that is set on the wing of an airplane in the air. It should be the most dynamic stage in "Street Fighter 5" yet.
