Capcom has been planning to launch a new DLC update for their popular video game "Street Fighter 5." The company has confirmed that the expansion will roll out today; however, the new characters will arrive on Wednesday, Mar 30.
Fans will surely appreciate the new features and characters that will be added to the game once they finish the download. The expansion is going to be available to all gaming platforms. However, only players with season pass will get the new battle stage that will be available anytime soon. Furthermore, Capcom will release two story mode costumes DLC for Ryu and Chun-Li for players who failed to secure the season pass. It will also be free, which will be released on Wednesday.
The initial update that comes out today will feature "Challenge Mode," "Online Rematch Options," and "Trials." The new DLC is also expected to fix the current bug issues of the game as well as bring Battle Lounge improvements. Fans have been noticing issues on the game; although, they are not critical, they believe that it should be taken care of right away.
"Challenge Mode" will introduce several many options including "Beginner Tutorials," "Intermediate Tutorials," "Advanced Tutorials," and "Demonstrations." Some of these options will be good for new players to learn more about each character and their powers before taking in hard battles.
The next DLC, which will come out on Wednesday, will feature in-game shop and the new character, Alex. However, the company admitted that "Zenny," which is the in- game currency, is not going to be implemented as of the moment. As of now, gamers can play Alex for free until Capcom fixes the issue.
Other characters in "Street Fighter 5" DLC include Balrog, Urien, Ibuki, Guile, and Juri. Alex joining the line-up is definitely going to be big for the game and its legions of fans.
