'Street Fighter 5' DLC release date updates and news: 3 additional characters will soon be added to the game?

When the fifth installment of the "Street Fighter" video game series was released early this year, many fans got excited about it. However, it was immediately criticized by many players for its server issues and lack of content. New reports suggest that game developer Capcom is preparing a possible DLC release that will add more characters in the game.
This is great news for the millions of "Street Fighter" fans all over the world who have been waiting for the company to provide more content for the game. According to a report from Polygon, the CEO of Capcom, Kenzo Tsujimo, expressed his disappointment over the recent performance of the "Street Fighter 5" in the market. Tsujimo said during the Financial Results Briefing that the company has suffered major loss in terms of sales this year.
The CEO added that "Street Fighter 5" needed a little more polishing and he promised to put more time on the development of their future titles.
"[It]'s best to spend a little more time in developing and running a high-quality title that will perform well globally," Tsujimo said in a briefing. "For example, some aspects of 'Street Fighter V' needed more polish, such as the lack of content and server issues at launch. Accordingly, we feel it's better to give a little more time to development than before, and have made slight adjustments to our portfolio. Profits may take one or two years longer to stack up than initially expected, however we will be firmly strengthening our brands."
Meanwhile, "Street Fighter 5" will be getting more characters in the future. According to reports, three new characters will be added including Dudley the English boxer, the butler Gotch and Sarai Kurosawa, the ninja warrior.
Nonetheless, Capcom has yet to provide the official details of the said DLC. There are also reports suggesting that the three characters to be added to the game might not be playable.
