'Star Wars Battlefront' will conquer virtual reality as PlayStation VR exclusive

Sony Corporation has announced the October 2016 release of PlayStation VR at the Video Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and while players are excited to try a whole new level of gaming, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO and president Andrew House revealed that the action shooter video game "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be made playable using the headset.
It was revealed, however, that "Star Wars: Battlefront" is only exclusive to the virtual reality headset designed for PlayStation 4 gaming. House said that more information will be released in the coming days regarding the changes that will be done in the traditional gameplay of "Star Wars Battlefront" in order to translate it to a virtual reality gaming experience.
"Battlefront" is just one of the 50 VR experiences prepared by Sony for the headset, which will be released beginning on PlayStation VR's launch date until the end of the year. The headset is reported to cost $399.
"Star Wars Battlefront" can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox and PC, and before getting ready for shooting intergalactic spacecrafts in virtual reality, makes sure to get the game's March update to explore new maps and accomplish new survival missions.
Included in the "Battlefront" March update are Rebel Depot on Tatooine that is added as a new survival mission to be accomplished by players, and the Survivors of Endor map made playable in the Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point game modes.
Aside from the March update, "Star Wars Battlefront" will also have its first downloadable content pack named the "Outer Rim." In this upcoming "Battlefront" DLC, new heroes such as Nien Nunb and Greedo will be introduced. Also, there will be new maps to be unveiled on Sullust that will feature Jabba the Hut's Palace. The release date of the "Outer Rim" content pack is still not confirmed, although it is expected to be released in the coming month.
