Sony PlayStation 4 Neo is no-show at E3; Release date in Q4 2016?

A new and improved version of the Sony PlayStation 4 may be available to the public by the end of 2016.
According to reports and rumor mills, the Sony PlayStation 4 Neo is nearing its way to retailers soon, with Q4 2016 as the projected date.
This has come as a surprise to many as the console was not available during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 in California.
Many of the industry's newest games and consoles were expected to make at least a note at E3 2016, but with the absence of the PlayStation 4 Neo during that time, many believed it would still be far from what sources are suggesting at the moment.
Digital Foundry suggested that the release this year can and may likely happen, and it is a welcome surprise for those who have been following the console since the beginning.
A few weeks back, VG247 revealed that Sony Interactive Entertainment acknowledged that the PlayStation 4 Neo is real, with its president Andrew House confirming it. However, he also told everyone that it will not be part of the E3 2016 experience.
The PlayStation 4 Neo may be Sony's answer to gaming at 4K focus and resolution. And if Digital Foundry's claim is correct, then Sony will be releasing their 4K gamer way before their rival, Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio, may make the public market.
This will undoubtedly give Sony the lion's share of early purchases as people will always want to try the latest technology and innovation with Sony PlayStation 4 Neo.
WeGotThisCovered even believed that Microsoft are a year behind and may not release Xbox Scorpio until late 2017. And with many believing that this technology and innovation is going to give the most complete gaming experience ever, then Sony fans are in for a treat while Microsoft's loyal fans may now start reconsidering where their allegiances lie.
