'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Spoilers, Rumors: In 'Faith and Despondency' Jax Finds Out Who Killed Tara

"Sons of Anarchy," which airs on FX at 9/10c every Tuesday, just showed us how allegiances and family ties in SAMCRO are both strong and convoluted.

As expected Abel (Ryder Londo) played a pivotal role in the episode titled "Faith and Despondency." He first framed his grandmother Gemma (Katey Sagal) for hurting him, but eventually told Jax (Charlie Hunnam) that she had killed Tara (Maggie Siff), which was something he had heard Gemma confess in the "Greensleeves" episode.

Prior to the big revelation made by Abel, Jax and Winsome (Inbar Lavi) spent the night together. Several other characters also ended up in bed with their partners. The episode saw Venus (Walton Goggins) and Tig (Kim Coates) working out their relationship. Tig finally stated that he is okay with Venus being a man but thinking of himself as a woman.

Another notable development in the episode was SAMCRO plotting the end of Moses (Matthew St. Patrick) and his gang. This happened when Moses captured Rat (Niko Nicotera) and beat him up. Rat then told Moses that SAMCRO was keeping the mother and son they were looking for in a cabin.

After Moses arrived with his gang at the cabin, a bomb went off, killing some of them. Then Jax clawed out Moses' eye while Chibbs (Tommy Flanagan) chopped off his fingers, replicating the manner in which Moses had Bobby Munson (Mark Boone Junior) tortured. Finally they killed Moses by shooting him in the head.

Meanwhile, after Abel blamed Gemma for hurting him, Jax decided to keep him away from his grandmother to prevent social services from taking them. While Abel was at Jax's house, Jax told him that his real mother was Wendy (Drea de Matteo) and that he came from her womb. This led to the final scene where Abel asked Jax: "Is that why grandma killed my other mommy, so my first mommy could be here with me?"

With Jax finally learning the truth about Tara's death, Entertainment Weekly notes that the show is truly winding up and that the next episode could see major developments.
