Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo dating rumors: Secret wedding in the works; Hye Kyo pregnant?
For months, fans and the media have speculated that the "Descendants of the Sun" lead stars Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo are dating. Recent rumors even suggest that a secret wedding is in the works because the 34-year-old actress is pregnant.
Social media platforms went crazy over photographs showing Joong-Ki and Hye-Kyo wearing matching bracelets and couple outfits, the Inquisitr reported.
The publication also stressed that the co-stars went away to the mountains of Norway to celebrate Joong-Ki's birthday. The actor's birthday is on the 19<sup>th of Sept. The actress shared picturesque sceneries on Instagram, not photos of the both of them. In addition, she did not add captions to her posts. According to the report, the photo of the log cabin on a mountain might have been taken in Norway. Even though Hye-Kyo could have been in Norway, there has been no proof that the actor was with her on this trip.
Furthermore, news outlets were saying that a wedding is underway because of Hye-Kyo's pregnancy, but it has since been debunked by their agency. A representative responded to the latest speculations, saying that the rumors are definitely untrue. Both parties even added that the co-stars are still just good friends.
Hye-Kyo and Joong-Ki's chemistry on KBS 2TV's "Descendants of the Sun" got them the Best Couple Award at the 2016 APAN Star Awards, which was held in South Korea on Oct. 2. Hye-Kyo was not able to attend the awarding ceremony with the actor.
"It is my first time getting the Best Couple Award, it's a pity I was not able to receive this award together with my comrade, Song Hye Kyo," Joong-Ki said in his speech, adding, "I am here receiving it alone, but I am still very thankful."
