'Sleepy Hollow' season 4 spoilers: Henry is back for a mysterious multiple-episode arc

In spite of "Sleepy Hollow" going through major changes over the course of its hiatus between seasons 3 and 4, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) stays as the pivotal figure in the series. That means that almost everyone about his background, including his son Henry Parish (John Noble), will be seen in the upcoming episodes of the new season.
In an exclusive tip coming from TVLine, it has been confirmed that the witch and sin-eater will create some damage even with his long-lost father already moving to Washington DC. What is interesting here is that Henry will not only be appearing in one episode; instead, folks behind the supernatural series is bringing back Katrina's (Katia Winter) son for a multiple installment arc. And if that is any indication, it seems like he will be a force to reckon with in the bigger scope of the story "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will be treading.
Tracing back to early this year during the New York Comic Con, the cast and crew have previously confirmed the return of the Horseman of War in a previewed sizzle reel. In the sneak peek, Henry is dressed in barrister's clothes complete with a white wig while attending his own father's trial. The backdrop looks like a British court in the eighteenth century in which the younger Crane approaches his father and says "Hello Father" just before the screen went pitch black.
This fateful meeting, however, would have to keep fans waiting for quite a bit as the tip also shares that it might actually take a while before Noble's appearance in "Sleepy Hollow." Probably toward the end of the latter half of the installment, which only makes sense given the situation that Ichabod is in. The witness moves into a new city following the shocking death of partner, Abbie (Nicole Beharie), in a quest to find his fellow witnesses and presumably continue his adventures. This time, however, he gets a new teammate in Diana (Janina Gavankar). Aside from his task at hand, he also enters a secret supernatural organization that fights evil creatures founded by George Washington decades ago as part of the United States Government.
"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premieres on Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
