'Sleepy Hollow' Episode Recap, Plot News: Abbie and Jenny Meet Their Mother's Ghost
Abbie (played by Nicole Beharie) and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) met the ghost of their dead mother Lori (Aunjanue Ellis) in Monday's episode of "Sleepy Hollow," which airs every Monday at 9/8c on Fox.
Abbie and Jenny were earlier called to Tarrytown Psychiatric Institute to investigate why a large number of inmates started committing suicide.
Before they got there, however, Abbie was haunted by recurring dreams of her mother, which she mentioned to Ichabod (Tom Mison). He however, had no explanation for them and could not help the investigation as he had a bad cold.
As Abbie and Jenny began investigating the suicides, they saw the ghost of their mother Lori in the room as a patient killed himself. This led them to believe that Lori was behind the suicides. However, they changed their opinion when Lori led them to a recording of her old therapy session in which she discussed how a nurse named Lambert (Cynthia Stevenson) told her to kill herself.
Meanwhile Nurse Lambert has chosen Irving (Orlando Jones) as the next person to die. Abbie and Hawley (Matt Barr) arrived just in time to save him from drowning. The two sisters finally managed to kill Lambert with a hex they found in Grace Dixon's journal.
Irving escaped from the facility using the distraction and Abbie allowed him to use the trunk of her car to hide. Finally Abbie and Jenny conducted a séance for Lori and she informed them that there is a powerful weapon hidden in Grace's journal.
Elsewhere Henry (John Noble) asked Katrina (Katia Winter) to pick up the baby Moloch. This made her sick. Within a few minutes Moloch transforms into a five-year-old and called her "mother" and then proceeding to tell her that he is hungry.
